The Ancient City Cat Show 2017

The Ancient City Cat Club presented its 2nd Annual Cat Show on Saturday and Sunday, February 25 and 26, 2017, at the Solomon Calhoun Community Center in St Augustine, FL.

There were over 125 pedigreed and household pets, they were judged in each of six rings each day. The theme of this year’s show was “Pirates of St. Augustine,” and a pirate re-enactor from Ancient City Privateers was onsite both days. Spectators were welcome to walk through the benching area and talk to the owners of the cats. Photography of the cats in the rings was encouraged, and photography of the cats in the benching area was at the discretion of each respective owner.

In addition to vendors selling cat related items, there was a fundraising raffle, a local food truck with lunch options, and an opportunity to have your picture taken with a local pirate.
