First Coast Opera is a non profit organization whose mission is to present the highest quality opera in Northeast Florida, with a balance of unwavering commitment to artistic excellence, while developing regional talent. Founded by former opera singer Barbara Norris and her husband Anthony Fast in 2000, FCO presents one fully staged opera per season, with two additional concerts or cabarets.

First Coast Opera presented “The Crystal Concert” on Saturday, May 9th, as part of the 2015 Romanza Festivale of the Arts. The free concert at Lewis Auditorium showcased operatic selections from 15 years of First Coast Opera productions in the St. Augustine area.
Directed by Chris Tucker, who just took over as artistic director for First Coast Opera, the concert featured many of the exceptional soloists who have contributed to these past productions.
The concert was free, as an expression of gratitude to the people of St. Augustine.
