Jacksonville Symphony in St Augustine

EMMA Concert Association presented the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra in a special concert to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Flagler College on Sunday, September 23, 2018, at 3:00 p.m. Featuring selections of movie music by John Williams, the concert was held at Lewis Auditorium. John Williams has composed some of the most memorable movie scores in history, including Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park, and E.T. He has won 23 Grammys, five Oscars, six Emmys, and four Golden Globes. The Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra performed under the direction of Michael Krajewsky.

EMMA: Broadway Comes to St Augustine

EMMA brought Neil Berg’s 100 Years of Broadway on Saturday, April 7th to the Lewis Auditorium in St Augustine. Neil Berg played a lovely piano as the other musicians and  cast sang broadway songs known to most of us, from such musicals as Camelot,Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Jersey Boys, Jesus Christ Super Star and so many more. The auditorium was packed as the songs kept coming and thunderous applause followed each one.

EMMA: The Gainesville Symphony Orchestra

St Augustine experienced the excitement and pleasure of truly beautiful music as the New Year and EMMA brought the Gainesville Symphony Orchestra to Lewis Auditorium at Flagler College, Saturday, Jan. 13 at 7:30 p.m. For more than 30 years the Gainesville Symphony Orchestra has brought music lovers to their feet in appreciation of performance after performance.

EMMA and First Coast Opera Bring Holiday Traditions

EMMA Concert Association presented their annual Holiday Traditions concert with First Coast Opera on Wednesday, December 13, 2017, at Lewis Auditorium. This concert was a performance by First Coast Opera of “Amahl and the Night Visitors. First Coast .TV missed the Opera because of previous commitment, but was able to bring you highlights of the second half of the performance. ENJOY

EMMA Gala and Concert

This year’s Gala for the EMMA Concert Association shaped up to be fabulous…the Big Band theme was a lot of fun, and the EMMA Guild committee, spearheaded by Barbara Hamel and Dori Hondorf, worked extremely hard to create a memorable event for everyone…including the guests!
The gala was followed by the Orlando Jazz Orchestra (Music Director: Greg Parnell) and Jazz singer Linda Cole at the Flagler Lewis Auditorium. The orchestra rocked the house!
