Masses March in St Augustine For Gun Reform

Marchers gathered at Davis Park on the east side of the Bridge of Lions approximately at 4 pm on March 24th. As more and more gathered, hundreds became thousands and so the march was on.
Marchers went on to cross the Bridge of Lions at 5pm.. After crossing, they turned right onto the bayfront heading to the Castillo de San Marcos for a rally.
PVUP supported the student-led March for Our Lives in St. Augustine along with other local progressive organizations. The student organizers welcomed the participation of students from all schools in St. John’s County and elsewhere, as well as all parents, grandparents, other adults, and children. This march was only one in about six thousand cities nation wide, with Washington D.C. being the biggest.
