St Augustine Orchestra Does Brahms, Schubert and more..

The St. Augustine Orchestra kicked off its 58th concert season Friday with a selection of pieces that focused on wind instruments and feature brass and woodwind players. The orchestra performed Johannes Brahms’ Academic Festival Overture and Franz Schubert’s Symphony No. 8. Bruce Broughton’s Tuba Concerto was performed by Jason Harris, and the orchestra played Johann Nepomuk Hummel’s Trumpet Concerto, featuring Andrea Albritton on trumpet. The concert was held at The Lightner Museum/Alcazar Cafe.
