I got on my bike and took a ride in the area and spoke with small businesses that need support. They are open and need your business.

A Vinyl Renaissance

The St Augustine Record Fair will be presented by ToneVendor and the St. Augustine Amphitheatre, over 30,000 music-related items—including new and used vinyl records, CDs, posters, turntable equipment and supplies, memorabilia, collectibles and more—will be available to music lovers and enthusiasts. Fans will find nearly every type of music genre represented.

There will plenty of activities for the whole family—including a bounce house, art activities, face painting, a scavenger hunt, and more. Live music will be provided by local bands throughout the day with DJ sets by Jake Brown of Hear Hear DJs.

The event will be held on Sunday, October 11, 2015, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

VCB Talks Tourism in St Johns County

The world of tourism in St Johns County met at The Renaissance at World Golf Village, looking at the many positive stats and growth in the industry in the last years. They took a look at the present and future of tourism in the First Coast and it all looks very bright and promising.

Norma Sherry Returns to St Augustine

Norma Sherry & Co. and her staff of professionals were on hand during the grand opening to greet and explain the offerings of the spa. Food was provided by some of St. Augustine’s most exquisite eateries: Old City House Restaurant, La Pentola, Conrads, The Reef, Cafe Benedetto, The Raintree, Cafe Alcazar, Aviles and La Cocina.

The opening had music provided by pianist and artist, Lucinda Anne Butler, versatile guitarist Elizabeth Roth, and vocalist and songwriter, Addi McDaniel.
