On May 20th Anne Kraft passed away, an artist that transformed St Augustine through theatre and much more. First Coast TV but a short video together to remember and celebrate her. She will be terribly missed.
Wendy Tatter Gallery & Studio usually brings an event or show at the end of the month, this June she will bring a short exhibit called Cuba, Cuba, Cuba, featuring author and artist Marisella Veiga. It will be lots of fun.
A new exhibit at the Lincolnville Museum and Cultural Center features five Black women who worked to make a difference during the civil rights movement and beyond. These women are icons and role models for the future generations of strong women.
The tall ship Nao Santa María, a replica of one of the most famous ships in all of human exploration, sailed into St. Augustine Thursday, May 27, 2021 The historic ship will remain here until June 1, 2021. The Nao Santa Maria will be open for tours beginning on Thursday, May 27, 2021 and through Monday, May 31, 2021. The Santa María was one of the three Spanish vessels that made the journey of discovery, captained by Christopher Columbus, in 1492. Guests will be able to roam through all five of the ship’s decks and browse the informative panels on the history of the Santa María and imagine what it was like to be a Spanish sailor 500 years ago.
