The St. Augustine Film Festival ended its four days of films from multiple countries shown at several theaters within walking distance of one another in St. Augustine’s historic district. The 2019 St Augustine Film Festival was a great success, taking place Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, January 18, 19, and 20, with a Preview Day on Thursday, January 17. Films were shown in Lewis Auditorium, the Gamache-Koger Theater at Flagler College, the St. Augustine Distillery, and at all three viewing rooms of the Corazon Cinema and Cafe. Films The St. Augustine Film Festival, is now in its ninth year. Films included comedies from all over the world as well as fine films from independent U.S. filmmakers. This year’s Festival also included several documentaries, some of the notables were Hurley, The Art & Times of Frosty Meyers, Cracking Aces, Fidlin and Sharkwater Extinction, including four documentaries that involved St. Augustine residents. We were also honored to have many extraordinary people from the film world, like Karen Allen, Talia Shire, Ray Abruzzo and Vincent De Paul to name just a few. We had three great parties around this festival that were just marvelous. Thank you to all that made this festival just outstanding in every way.
