This last Thursday the St Augustine Tonight Show with host Jorge Rivera was just fabulous, once again at Garrett Bros Home Decor with our guests, publicist Leigh Cort, photographer Lenny Foster, film makers Adam and Monique Madrid, and musical guests The Groov Band. Also a special guest cameo by Amy Hendrickson with her three months old baby Wyatt Oak Ingraham, and let us not forget the wonderful food by caterer Sherry Stoppelbein.
People keep asking me (Jorge Rivera) about wanting to see the short documentary I put together about the artist (painter) Harry McCormick filmed here in NE Florida and NYC titled “PORTRAIT OF AN ARTIST”. Many people were not able to attend the first showing of it at the Corazon Cinema & Cafe in mid August. As you all probably know Harry McCormick is a world renowned artist, and St Augustine was lucky enough to have an exhibition of his art (July 3 – September 20) at St Johns County Administration Building. His art was also being displayed at The Vault 1930 Art Gallery in Jacksonville. So here it is, please enjoy.
St Augustine Tonight Show starts a campaign of asking for participation in getting the second season ready, by setting up a Go Fund Me to collect contributions that will allow the show to continue. The target dates for the 13 upcoming shows are from Sept. 22nd to Dec. 15th 2017.
