Mariachis and Salseros at Romanza Festivale

On Sunday (May 5) at the Gazebo in the Plaza de la Constitucion in St Augustine, FL sounds of Mexican Mariachis (Mariachi Garibaldi) and Caribbean salsa (Caribeño Tropical) filled the air, where the audience danced, sung along and cheered.

Geek Out Art Show at Romanza

Sarbez! was the host of the Geek Out Art Show Vol. 3 on Saturday, May 4, 2019, as part of the Romanza Festivale of the Arts. A combination of an art show and a mini comicon, the event featured artists and comic book lovers from all over Florida gathering to showcase their talents.

In addition to the art on display, there was live music and booths set up by sponsors offering collectibles and accessories for sale.

Guests were invited to come in costume, and to bring their little Tanks Girls, Flashes, Wonder Women, Dr. Who’s, and Supermen along.

NFWC at Romanza Festivale

North Florida Women’s Chorale was part of the Romanza Festivale, and performed at the Ancient City Baptist Church on Saturday, May 4th at noon. The title of their performance was “Much Ado About Women”.

Romanza Festivale 2018 Comes to an End

The Romanza Festivale of Music and the Arts is ten days of historical, cultural, and creative events that celebrate all things St. Augustine. From May 4 – 13, 2017, the nation’s oldest city will be jam-packed with music and dance concerts, living history events and historical tours, live theater, and much more. On Sunday, May 13th the Romanza Festivale of the Arts closed with the St Augustine Community Chorus at the Ancient City Baptist Church. Here are some highlights that bring us to the final concert with the SACC.

The Romanza Festivale of Music and the Arts is ten days of historical, cultural, and creative events that celebrate all things St. Augustine. From May 4 to 13, 2018, the nation’s oldest city will be jam-packed with music and dance concerts, living history events and historical tours, live theater, and much more.

The Romanza Festivale includes more than 60 events and exhibits (many of them free) that showcase St. Augustine’s historical and cultural heritage. Performances, tours, and a variety of activities happen daily in many locations throughout the city. Romanza means romance, and this is the seventh year the Romanza Festivale will bring the talents of the arts community to the forefront to express their love affair with St. Augustine.

This year’s Romanza Festivale showcases the full sweep of local artistic endeavors, from opening night on Friday, May 4, to the closing concert by the St. Augustine Community Chorus on Sunday, May 14.
